Wierd, creepy article from Wired Mag today. It’s about two AI researches that died mysterious deaths. No summary will do it justice, you gotta go read it for yourself. At some point a quote from AI expert Marvin Minsky popped up ….”Each mental agent by itself can only do some simple thing that needs no mind or thought at all,” describing a neural net. It got me thinking. I am now pretty sure that someday the internet will achieve conciousness and immortality. So im gonna try and upload all my thoughts into it, via this blog, just in case the internet turns out to be Jesus Christ, second coming and all that….what have I got to lose.
